Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 30, 2026
The short version
ZoneMax does not collect, transmit, store remotely, or share any of your data. Period.
What data does ZoneMax access?
ZoneMax reads the following data from Apple HealthKit, solely on your device:
- Heart rate samples (for zone calculation during workouts)
- Workout history (type, duration, calories)
- VO2 max readings (for trend tracking)
- Resting heart rate (for recovery score)
- Heart rate variability / HRV (for recovery score)
- Sleep analysis (for recovery score)
- Active energy burned (for training load)
- Exercise minutes (for training load)
- Respiratory rate (secondary recovery signal)
- Date of birth and sex (for age-based formulas and benchmarks)
- Body mass (for display in settings)
Where is my data stored?
All data remains on your iPhone. ZoneMax does not have a server, database, cloud storage, or any backend infrastructure. Your health data never leaves your device.
Analytics and tracking
ZoneMax contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services, no advertising frameworks, and no tracking of any kind. We do not know who you are, what workouts you do, or what your health metrics look like.
Third-party services
ZoneMax does not integrate with any third-party services. It reads exclusively from Apple HealthKit and writes nothing back.
Data sharing
ZoneMax does not share your data with anyone. The optional share feature for workout cards renders an image on your device — you control where that image goes.
Children's privacy
ZoneMax does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app relies on Apple HealthKit, which is governed by the user's own device settings and parental controls.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Given our architecture (no server, no data collection), we do not anticipate material changes.
